About Paul Pers:
Paul is a GP who has been working in occupational medicine for the past 30 years. He was a SA WorkCover medical adviser for 10 years where he was involved in training health care providers in injury management as well as developing guidelines for occupational stress and chronic pain. He has been the lead consultant in several injury management projects in Vic, NSW, Qld and SA working with workers compensation and CTP insurance claims agents, large public sector and self insured employers. He has presented at workshops and conferences around Australia and in the United States for workers compensation professionals on techniques for motivating injured employees. He is medical adviser to several national employers and life insurers as well as undertaking independent medical and permanent impairment examinations.
