"Significant others" can play a major role in the rehabilitation and return to work of an injured employee.  They also need support, particularly if the health condition continues for more than a few weeks.

Regular contact between employer and employee and their family leads to better outcomes for all.

Below is a template letter for the RTW Coordinator to get in contact with the partner of an injured worker within twenty four hours of an injury.
